Christopher Velez

Christopher Velez has a diverse range of work experience in the athletics field. Christopher started their career as a Varsity Sports Administration Intern at Yale University in 2011. Christopher then worked as a Football Equipment Room Intern at Boston College from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they served as an Athletic Operations Coordinator at California State University, Bakersfield before transitioning to the role of Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager at the University of Delaware. In 2016, they joined Sacred Heart University as the Head Athletic Equipment Manager and later became the Assistant Athletic Director - Business and Equipment Operations. Currently, Christopher holds the position of Associate Athletic Director - Business and Equipment Operations at Sacred Heart University.

Christopher Velez completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Southern Connecticut State University from 2004 to 2008. Christopher later pursued a Master of Science in Management of the Sports Industries at the University of New Haven, graduating in 2011.
