Julia Tavolilla has had a diverse range of work experiences. Julia started their career in 2015 as a Summer Camp Counselor at New Fairfield Parks and Recreation. Julia then worked as a Banquet Waitress at Amber Room Colonnade from 2018 to 2020. Julia also had various roles at Sacred Heart University, including being a First Year Experience Mentor, Public Health Food Injustice Advocacy Researcher, Student Ambassador, and Orientation Leader. Julia worked at Sacred Heart University from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Julia interned as a Program Manager Intern and Community Health Improvement Coordinator at Yale New Haven Hospital. Julia later worked as a Caretaker for a private family from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Julia is the Associate Director of Strategic Enrollment Management at Sacred Heart University, a role they have held since 2023. Before this, they were the Associate Director of Campus Experience from 2022 to 2023 and the Assistant Director of Campus Experience from 2021 to 2022.

Julia Tavolilla completed their education at Sacred Heart University from 2017-2021, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Global Health. Prior to that, they obtained their high school diploma from New Fairfield High School from 2013-2017. Julia also holds additional certifications including Tuberculosis Basics, Nutrition: An Introduction, Diarrheal Disease, M&E Fundamentals, Governance and Health, Improving Health Care Quality, and an Online CPR/AED and First Aid Combo Course from the American Red Cross.
