Michael D. Larobina

Michael Larobina was named general counsel for Sacred Heart University in February 2012. In this capacity, he has been responsible for managing the University’s legal affairs, including providing legal advice to personnel, defending claims, supervising outside counsel and serving as liaison to regulatory and legislative bodies. In addition, he has served as the University’s corporate secretary. Before his appointment, he was a professor in the College of Business, chair of the management department, a program director and associate dean for programs and development. He is a fully tenured professor in the WCBT’s management department. He also has served as director of legal affairs and corporation counsel for the City of Stamford.
