Rachel Bauer

Rachel Bauer, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Theatre Arts and Coordinator of Academic Theatre at Sacred Heart University, a position held since August 2020. Prior to this role, Rachel served as Engagement Programs Manager and Graduate Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia from August 2011 to August 2020, and as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University from June 2016 to July 2020. Rachel also worked as Costume Department Head at Media Theatre from August 2010 to June 2011. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Theatre/Theater and a Master’s Degree in Theatre/Theater, both obtained from the University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as dual Bachelor’s Degrees in English Language and Literature and Theatre/Theater from Rowan University.
