Eugenio Garnica Gonzalez-Barcena is the Founder and CEO of Sadako Technologies, an engineering start-up established in August 2011, specializing in detection systems for industrial, security, and disarmament applications, focusing on portable systems for radioactive hazardous material detection and non-destructive testing equipment. Prior to this, Eugenio served as an Associate Professor at ETSEIB (UPC) from February 2011 to February 2015, concentrating on Engineering Projects. From March 2000 to March 2010, Eugenio was a Senior Engineer at Iberdrola Engineering and Construction, where responsibilities included coordinating a nuclear strategy program and managing the Project Management Office, along with earlier roles in nuclear power plant services. Eugenio earned a Peace Culture Postgraduate Diploma from UAB in 2009 and a degree in Nuclear Engineering from UPC in 1999.
