Karen Koczwara

Karen Koczwara is an experienced freelance writer with a focus on storytelling within church and community contexts. Since January 2012, Karen has served as a Volunteer Freelance Writer for Saddleback Church, covering events and conducting interviews to share unique narratives. In addition, Karen has been associated with Good Catch Publishing since January 2007, crafting 7,500-word stories based on interviews with church storytellers nationwide. Previously, from January 2011 to January 2013, Karen wrote columns for Rancho Santa Margarita Patch, including a feature on local businesses. Earlier in their career, Karen was an English Literature Instructor at Spirit Preparatory Academy, teaching students in grades 9-12 and fostering their creative writing skills. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Chico.
