Sam Lieberman has extensive work experience in the legal field. Sam started their career as a Law Clerk for Hon. Patricia M. Wald and later worked as a Law Clerk for Hon. Raymond Fisher. Sam then became an Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP before joining WilmerHale as Counsel. In 2009, Lieberman became a Senior Counsel at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann. Currently, Lieberman is the Partner and Co-Head of Litigation at Sadis & Goldberg LLP, representing hedge funds, private equity funds, and other large investors in securities litigation and complex business disputes.

Sam Lieberman attended Binghamton University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Philosophy. Following this, from 1996 to 1997, they attended Georgetown University Law Center, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study at that time. Finally, from 1997 to 1999, Lieberman attended Columbia Law School, where they obtained their law degree in 1999.
