Sriram Venkatesan, FAWM, currently serves as an Emergency Department Technician at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta since February 2025. Sriram has extensive involvement in emergency medicine through various leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the EMRA Prehospital & Disaster Medicine Committee and Medical Student Chair of the GEMA Global Engagement Committee at the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. Additional contributions include positions with the American College of Emergency Physicians and the International Student Association of Emergency Medicine. Sriram founded the Sri Ramachandra Emergency Medicine Interest Group in India and has been actively involved in advocacy for childhood blood cancer awareness through leadership at the MedHope Foundation. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research and EMT certification from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
