Katerina Labanicova

Katerina Labanicova is an experienced energy broker with a focus on the Southern European markets. Currently serving as a Continental Power Broker at Grupo CIMD since October 2018, Katerina specializes in the Spanish and Italian gas and power sectors, along with the German, French, and Swiss markets. Prior roles include Euro Power Broker at Marex Spectron, where a special emphasis on the Italian market was maintained while assisting clients from Southern and Eastern Europe. Katerina's career began as a Power Trader at Ezpada, successfully managing the company’s entry into the Italian power market and overseeing various operational and regulatory processes. Katerina's earlier experience includes serving as an Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Katerina holds a degree in polymer science, organic and physical chemistry from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, supplemented by studies at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
