Noreen McGuckin

Noreen McGuckin is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in early years education and inclusion. Currently serving as the Assistant Head Teacher at Safa British School since August 2018, responsibilities include directing inclusion initiatives, overseeing the core curriculum in English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, and Moral Education, and managing Emirati Learning Plans for students. Noreen has successfully contributed to improving the school's KHDA rating and has acted as the Acting Head of Primary in early 2024. Prior roles include Senior Leader at GEMS Wellington International School, where line management for staff and a focus on student wellbeing and standards was emphasized, as well as Key Stage 1 Leader at HollyMount RC Primary School. Noreen holds a PGCE in Primary Education from The University of Manchester and multiple degrees in Business Studies and Computer Science from Ulster University.
