Jon Peterson

Jon Peterson is the current Head of Product Design at Safara. Jon has extensive experience in product design, having worked as a Lead Product Designer at MakeSpace and as a Senior Product Designer at quip. Jon has also worked as a Product Designer at FanDuel and DRAFT.

Jon has significant experience in designing and managing product design systems. Jon led the revision and expansion of the design system at MakeSpace, including updating and adding numerous components and styles, and helping incorporate Material Design. Jon also conducted extensive research around user perceptions of pricing strategy, including a pricing survey, pricing user interviews, and launching the use of UserTesting.com for rapid user testing feedback.

At Safara, Jon is responsible for leading the product design team and ensuring that the products they design are user-friendly and meet the needs of Safara’s customers. Jon is also responsible for maintaining the design system and managing tooling.

Jon Peterson graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. Jon then got certified from Google in Google Analytics.
