Andrew Wang

Andrew Wang has seven years of work experience. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Research Intern at Argonne National Laboratory. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Research Intern at Argonne National Laboratory. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Advanced Engine Design Intern at Navistar Inc. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Lab Operations Engineer at Navistar Inc. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at The University of Chicago Computation Institute. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Fomoro AI, where they created a time-series forecasting library that utilized recurrent neural networks and transformer architectures to perform time-series demand forecasting for their client in the energy sector, developed machine learning models and trained them for use in production, and analyzed client datasets to help inform model development procedures and architectural choices. Andrew is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at curbFlow.

Andrew Wang has an educational background that spans from 2004 to 2018. Andrew attended Libertyville High School from 2004 to 2008. Andrew then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained a BSME in Mechanical Engineering with a Business Minor in 2012. Afterward, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Chicago in 2018.
