David Hawkey has a diverse work background with experience in sales, marketing, and advertising. David is currently the Director of Sales and Marketing at Safari Club International since September 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Media Solutions at Sightline Media Group from October 2019 to June 2020. Before that, they held the position of Northeast Sales Manager for Field&Stream, Outdoor Life, Shot Business, and Popular Sci at Bonnier Corporation from July 2014 to January 2019. David also worked as a Marketing Director at G5 Outdoors from December 2012 to June 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Campbell-Ewald as a Management Supervisor and Account Supervisor from 2005 to 2011. David also has experience as a Senior Account Executive at Fahlgren and as an Online Media Planner/Buyer at Leapnet. Early in their career, they worked at Lowe Lintas as an Associate Account Planner and Media Planner.
David Hawkey attended Miami University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication / PR / Marketing.
