Evelyn Githinji

Evelyn Githinji is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, having worked at Safaricom PLC since March 2016 as a Product Owner & Product Manager for Home Internet Solutions and Experience, where leadership of a cross-functional squad earned recognition through the 2022 Vodacom Group CEO Award. Evelyn's responsibilities include managing the product backlog, defining product visions, and aligning strategies with stakeholders, alongside previous roles as Segment Manager for High Value Customers and M-PESA Product Manager. Prior experience at Standard Chartered Bank spanned from July 2009 to February 2016, where positions included Product Lead for Retail Lending & Credit Cards, and Performance & Planning Manager. Evelyn holds an M.B.A. in International Business & Strategic Management and a B.Sc. from the University of Nairobi, along with a diploma in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
