Mary Mbaire is a User Experience Designer with extensive experience at Safaricom PLC, where responsibilities include designing user journeys for over 21 million users and facilitating significant financial transactions related to the Hustler Fund. Notable achievements include winning the first Safaricom Fintech Hackathon and redesigning an internal app to enhance employee experience. Additional roles include a UI/UX Designer internship focused on accessibility for the Deaf at Knock-Knock and a UX Designer position at Andishi Africa, where Mary collaborated on website and app designs aimed at promoting African literature. Currently, Mary is further enhancing expertise in User Experience Design through study at the Interaction Design Foundation, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Kabianga.
