Samuel I. Maina

Samuel I. Maina is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and IT sectors, currently serving as BSS Lead at Safaricom PLC since August 2025, and previously held the same title at Safaricom Ethiopia Telecommunications PLC from October 2021 to September 2025. Prior to these roles, Samuel worked at Safaricom PLC from December 2006 to April 2022 in various leadership positions, including Senior Manager of Channels Solutions in Digital IT and Principal in Business Systems Planning. Samuel's expertise includes CRM system development, enterprise integrations, and contact center implementations. Earlier career experiences include senior programming at Aga Khan University Hospital and systems development at VirtualCity Ltd and Metrocomia East Africa. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi, completed in 2001.
