Alex Kipkirui

Alex Kipkirui is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in telecommunications and system integration. Currently, Alex serves as Head of M-PESA Technology at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC. Prior to this, leadership roles at Safaricom PLC included Tribe Technical Lead for Mobile Data & Terminals and Senior Manager for Enterprise Integration and Order Management, with responsibilities spanning technology performance and business process automation. Alex's career at Safaricom also featured roles such as Manager for CSM API Planning and Development, Principal Service and Integrations Developer, and Senior CRM Developer. Earlier experience includes positions at CIC Insurance as a Database Administrator and at Turnkey Africa Ltd as a Senior Systems Developer. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Maseno University and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Strathmore University.
