Thomas Coy

Thomas Coy is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in mechanical design and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Product Engineer at Safco Products since September 2022, Thomas also owns FireFly Running, which has been operational since June 2016. Previous roles include Director of Performance at STMA United Soccer Club, Mechanical Engineer at Airborne Athletics, and Director of Engineering at LID Boss. Thomas has extensive experience in mechanical design, product troubleshooting, and development, having worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at both the Center for Advanced Design and as a self-employed consultant. Earlier in the career, Thomas served as a Design Engineer at Xccent Play! and Malco Design and Deliver Group, and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Octane Fitness, focusing on the research and development of consumer fitness products. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
