Emily Hughes Lmsw

Emily Hughes, LMSW, currently serves as the Lead Sexual Assault Accompaniment Specialist at The SAFE Alliance, where responsibilities include providing trauma-informed support to sexual assault survivors, advocating for clients’ legal rights, and coordinating services among various agencies. Emily's previous experience includes counseling at the Sobering Center Austin, where involvement with multidisciplinary teams focused on monitoring and assessing clients' substance use. Prior roles also include providing direct client services during an internship at A New Entry, Inc., and offering caregiving support at Project Transitions. Emily holds a Master of Social Work from the Steve Hicks School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society from The University of Texas at Austin.
