April Godfrey

April Godfrey is an experienced professional currently serving as the Y-Kids Program Coordinator and Y-Kids Associate at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte since July 2023. Additionally, April works as a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator at Atrium Health and as a Hotline Advocate for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault at Safe Alliance, both positions held since August 2023. April has been a Back Office Assistant and Special Orders Manager at Diamonds Direct since October 2016. Previous experience includes roles as a Communications Consultant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Youth and Family Services Intern with Mecklenburg County, and a Student Intern at Charlotte Village Network, among others. April holds a Master of Social Work (MSW), a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology, and a Bachelor of Social Work in Child Welfare, all obtained from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
