Alfonso Perez

Alfonso Perez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community engagement, spiritual guidance, and leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as the Strategic Engagement Director at Safe Families for Children and the Student Ministries Director at NEW DAWN MINISTRIES OUTREACH CENTER, Alfonso has also held positions as Chaplain for the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the Des Moines Police Department since 2015. Additionally, Alfonso is the Strategic Community Development Director at the Community Foundation for Inspired Giving, where initiatives focus on supporting families in the Urban Core of Des Moines. Previous roles include television host for TCT Ministries and Community Site Coordinator for Des Moines Public Schools, addressing diverse community needs. Alfonso earned a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from Christian Life College and has a background in community development related to human trafficking at Garden Gate Ranch.
