Part Time Church Engagement at Safe Families for Children

Janae Jackson is a part-time church engagement worker at Safe Families for Children. Janae previously worked as an intern at WHRO Public Media from August 2018 to December 2018, where they conducted research on National Theirtoric Landmark The Attucks Theatre, executed interviews for Mind Over Manners podcast series, and associate produced Another View Radio Show. Jackson also has experience as a public relations intern at Generation Outreach from December 2017 to December 2017, where they contacted administration of various schools and organizations to discuss and introduce contractual agreements, executed promotions on Rochester Free Radio, contacted local vloggers for promotional purposes, and developed spreadsheets for documentation in conjunction with the CEO. Additionally, they have experience as a radio host assistant at ROCHESTER FREE RADIO INCORPORATED from December 2017 to December 2017. Jackson's experience also includes working as a special event coordinator at Shenandoah University from January 2016 to May 2017.

Janae Jackson has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Old Dominion University, a Math for the Liberal Arts degree from Northern Virginia Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Shenandoah University. Janae also has an English Language and Literature degree from Southside Virginia Community College, and a High School Diploma from Brunswick High School.

They work with and Kristin Pilcher - Intake and Family Coach Supervisor. Janae Jackson reports to Cheri Jimenez, Chief Communications Officer/Chapter Director-Raleigh.
