Louise Richardson BSc has extensive experience in advocacy, empowerment, and support for vulnerable individuals. Currently serving as a Children and Young Person’s Advocate at Black Country Women's Aid since October 2021, Louise also operates Own Today, a self-love and empowerment brand founded in December 2017 that offers resources and strategies for women facing mental health challenges. In addition, as the Founder of Safe Families UK since June 2020, Louise provides befriending services to families affected by domestic violence and mental health issues, honing effective communication skills to foster understanding and empathy. Earlier experience includes a role in hospitality at The Dog in 2018. Louise holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, awarded in 2021, and completed A-Levels and GCSEs at Bristnall Hall Academy.
