Santosh Jami

Santosh Jami is the current Director of Technology at Safe Health. Prior to this, they worked as an Integration Architect at Community Health Systems / Health Management Associates from October 2011 to August 2016. In this role, they led Mirth / Rhapsody Integration engineer for building the Central Interface Platform that unified 5000+ interfaces on Enterprise Mirth / Rhapsody for 72+ hospitals. Santosh was also responsible for translating client’s business functionality to functional, architecture and design documents, as well as conceptualizing and designing workflows and screens for Provider Portal and Patient Portal applications.

From October 2011 to August 2016, Santosh Jami worked as the Lead developer on the backend platform providing real time data from ancillary systems. Santosh was also responsible for designing and developing SOA Platform layer built using .NET 4.5, C#, REST API, Microservices, WCF services, Entity Framework and SQL Server. Additionally, they developed REST based API services interfacing with Spark FHIR service and Mongo DB.

Santosh Jami also has experience working with a wide range of vendors, including but not limited to McKesson, Epic, Cerner, HMM Formulary system, MedHost EDIS, Patient Keeper, Quest, LabCorp, AllScripts, and GE RAD. Santosh has also handled the complete integration suite for ICD-10 initiative including CAC and Abstracting interfaces with 3M 360 (InterSystems Ensemble) and Streamline eCHARMS with Enterprise Rhapsody.

Most recently, Santosh Jami was responsible for designing and developing HMA Community HIE interfaces workflow including CCD exchange. Santosh has also designed and implemented interfaces for EPIC EMR to Softlab LIS using EPIC bridges.

Santosh Jami has a Health Information Technology Certificate Program from Weil Cornell Graduate School of Medical Science, a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engg from OEC, and a Diploma in Advanced Computing in Software Engineering from CDAC Pune. Santosh also has a certification from Orion Health in Rhapsody Associate Certification.
