Ryan Taylor

Ryan, Director of SafeSchool Solutions, recently retired from the Hamilton Southeastern School District, one of the fastest growing school districts in the state of Indiana with over 21,000 students. He spent 25 years in the field of education as a teacher and administrator at the building and central office levels where he led efforts in professional development, school safety, student services, and human resources working tirelessly to provide a safe, welcoming space where students can focus on learning and simply enjoy being a kid.

Ryan developed a multi-layered approach to crisis management using best practices and prevention-based models in crisis prevention, crisis management, mental health awareness and suicide prevention. He has trained safety experts, school administrators, SRO’s and teachers across the country on prevention-based models.

He has first hand experience helping schools and communities navigate the difficult path of the realities of crisis and tragedy.

As a dedicated prevention specialist, he realized that he could drastically reduce the possibility of having to deal with situations that impact the primary school goal of educating our kids.
