Ashley Lugo

Ashley Lugo has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Ashley has worked at Safe Horizon since 2016, starting as a Development Events and Engagement Assistant before progressing to roles such as Manager of Events and Engagement and later Associate Director of Individual and Community Engagement. In these roles, they successfully managed a community-level donor portfolio, implemented community-based fundraising programs, and designed virtual cultivation series for board members. Additionally, Ashley has experience in fundraising and event planning, having developed strategic fundraising plans and met fundraising goals for Safe Horizon's signature event, the Champion Celebration Gala. Before joining Safe Horizon, they worked as an Assistant Account Executive at Taylor & Taylor Associates from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Information Desk Assistant and Front Desk Assistant at Penn State University from 2011 to 2013. Ashley also interned at Magna Securities Corp. in 2009.

Ashley Lugo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Penn State University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013.
