James Phillip Burgess

James Phillip Burgess is an experienced professional with a strong background in institutional and government support, development, and corporate communications. Currently serving as the Manager of Institutional and Government Support at Safe Horizon since June 2010, James has a significant track record in fundraising, previously holding the position of Director of Development and Marketing at Court Appointed Special Advocates, Inc., where responsibilities included raising over $1 million annually for the organization. Earlier in the career at Republic New York Corporation, James served as First Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications, managing all communication strategies for the bank.
