Ben Parker

Ben Parker has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Ben currently holds the position of Head of Engineering & Operations at Terrafend since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Member Of The Board Of Advisors at Marloe Watch Company starting from July 2017.

From October 2016 to December 2019, Ben worked at Hale Hamilton as a Senior Programme Manager. During this role, they successfully delivered a failing project, increased on-time delivery from 20% to 95%, and secured a new program worth over £10m. Ben also led critical and complex programs, initiated growth programs for new product development, and ensured adherence to profit targets.

Before Hale Hamilton, from April 2015 to September 2016, Ben held the position of Operations and Commercial Director at Terrafend, where they developed and implemented a business strategy, led operations, and formulated procurement strategies.

From January 2013 to April 2015, Ben worked at Pulse Structural Monitoring as a Programme Manager, where they led projects and departments through a period of rapid growth. Ben also improved the company's resourcing and planning systems and resolved project issues. Prior to this, they served as a Project Manager at the same company from November 2011 to March 2013.

Ben's earlier experience includes working at GE Oil & Gas as a Project Manager from April 2009 to November 2011, and at GE Aviation in various roles. These roles include New Projects Manager from January 2007 to April 2009, Technical Liaison Engineer from September 2005 to January 2007, and Graduate Placement from November 2004 to September 2005. At GE Aviation, Ben focused on developing relationships, managing testing programs, implementing lean processes, and analyzing data for propeller assembly and maintenance.

Throughout their career, Ben Parker has demonstrated expertise in project management, program leadership, strategic planning, operations management, and business development.

Ben Parker attended the University of Warwick from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ben later enrolled at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and earned an MBA in Business from 2009 to 2012.
