Ringo McCollum has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Ringo began their career in 1983 as a Draftsman at Richard M. Sibly & Associates; Architects. Ringo then served as a Patrol Officer at the City of Rome in 1992 before transitioning to the United States Air Force, GA Air National Guard as an Air Traffic Controller from 1987 to 1995. Following their military service, Ringo joined the City of Dalton where they held positions as a Patrol Officer, Code Enforcement Officer, Building Inspector, and Assistant Building Official from 1993 to 2005. Ringo then worked as the Chief Building Official at White County from 2005 to 2011. Currently, they are employed at SAFEbuilt, where they serve as a Building Official, Project Manager, and Business Development Representative.
