Damian Hewitt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and project execution across various sectors. Currently serving as the SA State Manager at SAFEgroup Automation since October 2023, Damian previously held the position of Head of Smart Cities and Future Mobility at SAGE Group, where responsibilities included Profit and Loss accountability and team leadership within the Smart Cities portfolio. Prior to that, Damian spent over a decade at SAGE Automation as the General Manager Transport, leading significant projects and generating $100 million in revenue, as well as roles in project delivery and management. Earlier career highlights include managerial positions at Ai Automotive, where responsibilities encompassed maintenance and tooling, and roles as an apprentice at Grundfos Pumps and Nilsens. Educational qualifications include memberships in executive networks and business leadership, alongside diplomas in project management and electrical engineering.
