Becca Schmidt

Becca Schmidt has extensive experience in advocacy and support roles, currently serving as a Domestic Violence Advocate at SafeHouse Denver, Inc. since August 2019. Becca's background includes positions as a Food Server at Holiday Retirement since June 2013, where strong relationships with residents were cultivated, and as a Mental Health Promotion Undergraduate Assistant at Simpson College, focusing on mental health awareness. Previous roles also include serving as a Dietary Aide at Sunny View Care Center, conducting Art Therapy sessions at Youth Emergency Services & Shelter, and interning with Dry Bones to support homeless youth. Becca held multiple leadership and support roles throughout educational tenure at Simpson College, achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts, English, and Psychology from 2014 to 2018.
