Scott Fritzinger

Scott Fritzinger has a long and varied career history. Scott began their professional journey in 1996 as a Computing Helpdesk Supervisor and Technician at the University of Nevada Reno. In 1998, they co-founded the gPhoto project with Ole Aamot. In 2000, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Photodex Corporation, where they developed desktop multimedia software and mobile applications. In 2008, they founded Plain and Simple Software, where they have continued to develop mobile applications. In 2018, they became a Senior Software and Embedded Engineer at Filament. In 2020, they took on the role of Principal Software Engineer at Talage, where they planned, developed, and maintained 3rd party insurer integrations, developed front-end UIs, and back-end APIs. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Engineering and Firmware Manager and Engineer at Safehub. Additionally, since 2004, they have been a Head Instructor at Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu in Reno.

Scott Fritzinger obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1998. Scott then went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Engineering (Cryptographic Network Security and DDOS abatement) from the same university in 2002.
