Skip Potter

Skip Potter serves as an Investor and Advisor at Safehub since January 2017. From April 2021 to January 2025, Skip held the position of EVP, Chief Digital and Information Officer at Columbia Sportswear, where leadership focused on digital technology and product management, resulting in significant achievements in digital transformation and the establishment of an AI Steering Committee. Prior to Columbia, Skip was the Chief Technology Officer at Nike from September 2016 to March 2021, managing technology strategies that enhanced consumer experiences. Skip's prior experience includes a role as Managing Vice President of Digital Engineering at Capital One, where leadership emphasized software engineering and cloud strategy, and as VP of Technology Innovation, fostering project initiatives in Capital One Labs. Educational background includes a Boot Camp at Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design and a degree from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business.
