Mariam Ahmed serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Amina Muslim Women's Resource Centre since February 2021, leading initiatives focused on Violence Against Women and Girls, Equality and Human Rights, Employability, and Creative Arts for Muslim and BME women in Scotland. In addition to this role, Mariam Ahmed is a Committee Member at the Equality and Human Rights Commission and has been a Training Associate at SafeLives since January 2017, providing training on domestic abuse and related topics. From June 2008 to February 2021, Mariam Ahmed held the position of BME Domestic Abuse Lead at THE DAISY PROJECT.
