Shirley Nickels

Shirley Nickels is the Chief Operating Officer at SafelyYou. Shirley was previously the Co-Founder and President of Sentact, a market leader in healthcare on-demand software services, from January 2009 to July 2017. Shirley was active in every aspect of Sentact’s growth, including visioning the product suite, creating pricing models, branding, market-positioning, and initially serving as the company’s only sales representative. With a focus on stable, scalable products and service excellence, they continually evolved the product offerings to meet dynamic customer and industry demands. Shirley also served as “chief product evangelist,” interacting with C-suite executives of our key accounts and speaking at their leadership forums.

Under Shirley’s leadership, Sentact conceptualized, architected, developed, and launched several industry-leading products, including SentactOnDemand, which automates the logistics of non-clinical care. Shirley also oversaw a full platform rebuild, including a scalable REST API, and successfully transitioned +300 facilities with no service disruptions or data loss. Additionally, Shirley relocated the primary data center and implemented geographic redundancy by adding a secondary environment on AWS.
