Joe Lane

Joe Lane is an experienced executive in the medical device industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of SafePath Medical, Inc. since March 2013, focusing on the development and marketing of innovative safety suturing technologies. In addition, Joe Lane has been President of Ingens Medical, LLC since 2009, specializing in medical device product and business development. Previous roles include Director of R&D at Mitralign Inc., where leadership was provided in developing a percutaneous mitral valve repair technology, and Vice President of Engineering at Morris Innovative, a founding medical device development company. Earlier career experiences include Program Manager/Senior Engineer at Millipore and Project Engineer at Cook Medical, where contributions to various medical devices were made. Joe Lane holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and both MS and BS degrees in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
