William Schatten

William Schatten has a diverse work experience in the finance and investment industry. William is currently the CIO at Safepoint Insurance Company since May 2020. Prior to that, they were the Managing Partner at Lynncroft Capital Partners from 2013 onward. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at First New York Capital Management. William also has extensive experience at Black River Asset Management, where they served as a Senior Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager from 2004 to 2012. In their role at Black River Asset Management, they managed various funds and conducted hedging programs. Before that, William held senior portfolio management positions at Gartmore, Deephaven Capital Management, Hamilton Partners, and Palladin Partners. William also gained experience in the advertising industry as an Account Executive at Keyes Martin Advertising from 1989 to 1992.

William Schatten attended the University of Rochester from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History. Later, they pursued further studies at Columbia Business School from 1992 to 1994 and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General.
