Lukas Simandl has an extensive work experience in the field of IT, particularly in the roles of Scrum Master, Agile Consultant, and Process Designer. Lukas served as a Sr. Scrum Master at Safetica since 2020 while being an External Lecturer at Czechitas. Prior to that, they worked as an Agile Consultant as a freelancer in 2018 and as a Scrum Master at TSCNET Services GmbH in the same year. Lukas also held Scrum Master positions in Concur (2016), CA Technologies (2012), and served as a Software Engineer in the latter. Lukas started their career at IBM in 2009, where they worked on z/Os Mainframe Operations and z/Os 2nd level System automation.
Lukas Simandl completed their secondary education in IT at the Secondary School Industrial Jihlava in 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they attended the Faculty of Informatics Masaryk University, majoring in IT, earning no degree. Lukas obtained their Scrum Master certificate from the Scrum Alliance in July 2014, and in March 2016, they received their SAFe Agilist (SA) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
