Jerry Sleeper

Jerry Sleeper has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, holding various leadership roles at Safety Insurance. Starting in 1989, they served as the Internal Audit Director for 12 years before transitioning to the position of Finance & Administration Director in 2001. From 2007 to 2012, they held the role of Risk & Assurance Director, and then became the Risk, Audit & Compliance Director in 2012. In addition to their time at Safety Insurance, Jerry also served as the Compliance Audit Committee Chairman and later the Compliance and Operations Committee Chairman at Commonwealth Auto Reinsurers from 2013 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Indian Head Banks, Inc. as the EDP Audit Officer from 1987 to 1989 and as a Staff Auditor from 1984 to 1986.

Jerry Sleeper received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley University, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in August 2013, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA in June 2011.
