Bianca Steen

Bianca Steen is an experienced software developer currently employed at Safety io since June 2022. Prior to this role, Bianca worked as a Candidate Engineer at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) from 2017 to June 2022, contributing to energy solutions for South Africa through software development, energy modeling, and research. Bianca has also held roles as a bursar and vacation student at CSIR, where coding and simulations were key responsibilities. Additionally, Bianca served as a Teaching Assistant for an introductory programming module at the University of Pretoria in early 2017. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and an Honors in Engineering, both from the University of Pretoria.
