Andrea Shopher

Andrea Shopher is an experienced underwriting professional currently serving as Assistant Vice President Underwriting at Safety National since August 2011. Throughout her tenure, Andrea has held various leadership roles, including Director of Excess Underwriting and Regional Underwriting Manager, focusing on Excess Workers' Compensation in the Northeast Region. Prior to Safety National, Andrea gained extensive experience at Travelers from July 2002 to August 2011, where roles included Senior Underwriter for Workers' Compensation and Supervisor of Excess WC Underwriting Operations. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where studies were completed from 1997 to 2001, and attended Truman State University in 1996-1997.
