Joy Edler

Joy Edler is a seasoned professional in the reinsurance field, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Treaty Reinsurance at Safety National since July 2021. Previous roles at Safety National include Vice President overseeing various aspects of casualty treaty reinsurance from 1998 to 2020. Joy Edler also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Trean Insurance Group from January 2020 to June 2021. With extensive experience in producing, underwriting, and servicing property and casualty treaty reinsurance portfolios, Joy Edler has a strong background in managing proportional and non-proportional treaties, utilizing risk-sharing features. Joy Edler earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College.
