Chance McAllister

Chance McAllister is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Matchmaking Lead at On Deck since March 2021 and as the Founder of Chingu since November 2016. Previous roles include ESL Teacher at Soongeui Elementary School and Froebel English Eunmul School from March 2012 to March 2016, and Character Designer at Galbi Labs from March 2015 to February 2016, where designs spanned educational materials, events, and merchandise. Chance's editorial skills were honed as Editor in Chief of The Strand at the University of Toronto from September 2007 to July 2011, having started as a staff writer and progressed through various editorial roles. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and professional education in User Experience and Interaction Design from The Interaction Design Foundation.
