Sofia Baran

Sofia Baran has a diverse range of work experience. Sofia started as a Camp Director at Millburn Recreation Department in 2020, where they trained and collaborated with counselors responsible for children's activities. In 2021, Sofia held multiple positions, including Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, Welcome Desk Attendant and Building Supervisor at Frist Campus Center, and High School Advising Fellow at Matriculate. Sofia also served as President of SafeUP Princeton University Outreach Chapter and President of Princeton Students for Reproductive Justice (PSRJ). In 2022, Sofia worked as a Volunteer Perioperative Care Ambassador at Penn Medicine Princeton Health and as a Global Health Research Intern at the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM). In 2023, they interned as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at NYU Langone Health and volunteered as an End of Life Care Hospice Volunteer at Compassus. Sofia has demonstrated their passion for community outreach, healthcare, and promoting social justice throughout their work experiences.

Sofia Baran completed their education from 2016 to 2020 at Millburn High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Sofia then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Psychology at Princeton University from 2020 to 2024.
