Lucy Chen

Lucy Chen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Lucy is currently serving as the Head of Product Design at Safewill. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Product and Design Officer at Kit, where they developed a financial education and money management app for kids and parents. Additionally, they have held leadership roles such as Head of User Experience at Employment Hero, Principal Product Designer at Service NSW, and Head of UX and Product at Insured By Us. Lucy has also worked at companies like uno Home Loans, Commonwealth Bank, Atlassian, Vivant, and Peoplenova as a User Experience Manager, UX Lead, Design Lead, and Head of User Experience, respectively. Lucy Chen is well-versed in leading teams, conducting research, and creating innovative design solutions.

Lucy Chen attended UNSW from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a double degree in Computer Engineering and Psychology. Lucy obtained a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science during their time at the university. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned certifications in the field of data analytics and web accessibility. Lucy obtained a verified certificate for Introduction to Data Analytics for Managers from edX in May 2021 and a verified certificate for Introduction to Web Accessibility from the same institution in January 2021.
