Mithun Mukundan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the payments and financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief Product Officer for International Markets at Safexpay UAE since July 2023, Mithun leads product strategy and alliances. Previously, as VP and Head of Acquiring & Processing at neoleap, Mithun successfully managed multiple digital initiatives and facilitated the carveout of a significant portfolio from Al Rajhi Bank. Experience at Network International as VP of Acquiring Products involved overseeing innovative payment solutions with P&L ownership. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Mashreq Bank, Worldline Global, First Data Corporation, American Express, and Allsec Technologies. Mithun's academic credentials include an Executive Program in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and an MSc in Finance & Computer Applications from Bharathiar University.
