Polly Handford

Polly Handford is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in sports governance and legal affairs. Currently serving as General Counsel at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation since April 2024, Polly previously held positions including Director of Legal and Governance and Head of Legal at The Football Association from July 2014 to April 2024. Earlier in the career, Polly was a Partner at Couchmans LLP and served as Deputy Head of Legal at the Rugby Football Union from July 2010 to October 2013. Polly began the legal career as a Solicitor at Forsters LLP, where progression to Partner occurred between December 2000 and June 2010. Polly is an alumnus of the University of Bristol.
