Amy Pelzl has been working in the ticketing industry for over 35 years. Amy started their career as a Ticket Manager for the Houston Aeros minor league hockey team. In 1998, they took a position with the 12th Man Foundation at Texas A&M University, where they oversaw ticketing for sporting events at Reed Arena.
In 2008, Amy left Texas A&M to join Extremetix, Inc., a ticketing software company, as Director of Strategic Accounts and Sales & Marketing. During their time at Extremetix, Amy helped the company grow significantly, landing major accounts such as the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Disney on Ice, and Cirque du Soleil.
In 2017, Amy joined Saffire, a ticketing services company, as Senior Manager of Strategic Support. In this role, they provide high-level customer service and support to clients.
Amy has been very active in the ticketing industry throughout their career. Amy served as President of GHATA (Greater Houston Area Ticketing Association) from 2005 to 2021 and was a committee chair for INTIX (International Ticketing Association) from 2013 to 2015. Amy has also been a panelist and speaker at multiple conferences and events.
Amy Pelzl has a musical theatre field from Alvin Community College.
