Chris Lugar

Chris Lugar is the VP of Engineering at Saffire. Chris has over fifteen years of experience in the software engineering industry.

Lugar started their career at Wright Strategies in January 2005 as a software engineer. Chris was the first employee at the company and helped build custom dot net web applications for a variety of markets. As a full stack developer, they utilized technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL Server and JQuery/Javascript to provide custom solutions for customers.

In 2010, Lugar architected and built an ecommerce system for a global shoe company. The system was a success, selling millions of dollars in shoes and accessories yearly.

Lugar's experience and success at Wright Strategies led to their current position as VP of Engineering at Saffire. In this role, they oversee the engineering department and works to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Chris is also responsible for hiring and training new engineers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients.

Chris Lugar has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Western Oregon University.
