Martin Croucher

Martin Croucher has over 35 years of work experience, starting in 1984 as a Customer Service Representative at Provident Mutual Life Assurance Limited. Martin then worked as a Customer Service Representative at Liberty Life Insurance Company from 1986 to 1987 and at Manulife from 1987 to 1989. From 1989 to 2006, they held the role of Compliance Manager at Pearl Assurance Public Limited Company.

In 2006, Martin joined Diligenta as the Head of Financial Crime & Compliance, including the role of MLRO, and held this position until 2012. Martin then moved to BGL Group, where they worked as a Senior Financial Crime Manager, including the role of Deputy MLRO, for almost nine years.

In 2021, Martin joined The Cambridge Building Society as a Financial Crime Manager until May 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Financial Crime at Saffron Building Society, a role they started in May 2023. Throughout their career, Martin has demonstrated expertise in financial crime prevention and detection, risk assessments, fraud investigations, and ensuring compliance with anti-financial crime regulations and legislation.

Martin Croucher attended Norton Comprehensive from 1979 to 1984 but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during that time.
